The museum is a unique space where researchers can study museum collections, engage with civil society representatives, and foster interdisciplinary cooperation in the fields of art and culture.
In 2024, the “Crimean Tatar Coffee Tradition” was included in the Inventory representing the culture of the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine, part of the National Inventory of the Elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine. The registration dossier for this element was prepared by Esma Adzhіieva, Head of the Crimean Tatar NGO “Alem,” together with Oleksii Savchenko, Deputy Director General of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine. During the work on the “Miras. Heritage” exhibition, numerous valuable family stories of Crimean Tatars were collected and documented.
